Tempest
Fugit is a retail store located at the corner of Baltimore Avenue and Village by
the Sea Mall in Rehoboth Beach Delaware.
We have been in business for twenty years in the downtown Rehoboth Area. Our location is 3000 sq. feet.Tempest Fugit is owned by David and Janice Elder. We are open year round.We market an
extensive array of products. The main categories include: furniture from Bali, Mexico, Thailand,
India and the United States; an extensive line
of gifts and home decor accessories; hand crafted Sterling Silver jewelry, both domestic and imported; and a wide variety of handmade
paper and journals and artistic cards; handmade soaps and oils.
Janice Elder is a fine artist and a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art and sells her art in the store. Janice is also the owner and operator of our sister store "Bella Luna" at 127 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach DE.
In the off season we attend numerous auctions and antique shows and travel with our family to Aisa on buying trips. We currently import several containers yearly from Thailand, Indonesia, China, Vietnam and Mexico.
Tempest Fugit has a reputation as a unique and exciting place to shop, with a strong repeat customer base, many of whom have
been shopping at Tempest Fugit for twenty years and more.
